mysteriously, values are still defying gravity in uruguay, south america.
i thought for the longest time that it would roll over when home equity withdrawals in the boomtowns in the northern hemisphere dried up.
but a bunch of argentina money fleeing argentina keeps pouring into the condo market in punta del este (a resort town down here).
but, when i hear about the crazy price appreciation i keep thinking, “oh boy..it’s (l.a., las vegas, florida, dubai, etc) all over again”.
i wonder if the author can update on whether things are starting to pick up again there or if there are any deals to be had now.
