I lived in Panama for a few years and couldn't believe how beautiful the country was; how friendly the people are; and what a great deal the real estate is! It's a US dollar currency means no worry of losses due to fluctuations. Plus they have a cool deal with years of tax exemption on many homes. Add in the canal to keep a stable economy and I believe this emerging market is gonna stay hot for quite a while. Cabo is lovely but I really find the real estate to be over priced.
