When you say that it comes down to finding the best lender is really all there is too it. In fact, the best lenders are so sure of the fact that they can give the best deal that they will actually encourage their clients to shop their rate.

That’s a great post! I agree with all that you said, but I’ll have to add one more thing to this list. Make sure that you have no judgements attached to the property. I had clients recently trying to refinance, but there was a court order, where the property was part of the law suit. They tried 3 different lenders and each one declined them. Make sure your house is in good standing.
