This company is on the right track. Having searchable data on real estate sites is key to user satisfaction.
There was a time when real estate sites were nothing more than very thin gateway pages to MLS. No, users are requiring a more robust Web 2.0 site.
I agree that The Real Estate Book is an option for people to find homes and agents. I advertised with them for years. Although I really think a Good Realtors® Website is a better place to find real estate because they have ALL the real estate listings for sale where The Real Estate Book only has listings that agents have added. The quality of website you visit is critical to the results you will get. In some areas of the country The Real Estate Book website may be the best choice. On the other hand their are web savvy agents that have built very useful websites with the entire MLS, area information and even custom mapping like mine has for Oregon.
There isn’t anything like this in the UK - so there is certainly a gap in the market here for someone - being able to rate / review and provide feedback on estate agents for other users would be an excellent way to compare estate agents
